I never quite believed the rumors swirling about this place. Too much talk, not enough empirical evidence. And I know how far from truth rumors can be.
But now that I'm here, I'm forced to face the facts. There is something to the tales about the power located here that is true.
These Upyr have access to magics I haven't seen before, and I have seen many.
Is it because their archives hold ancient secrets? I have not been to one yet, so I cannot say for sure, but they have promised me the privilege, once I have accepted their ways.
The temptation is strong. Perhaps I will finally find a way to cure the Lost here.
